Good morning, Friends.  I always look forward to Poetry Pantry on Sunday & hope that you do too!

Today we are again featuring photos of Japan taken by Scott Hastie.  Thank you so much, Scott, for sharing with us again today!

I do hope that you will continue to visit Poets United other days of the week as well.  If you haven't done so already, I hope you will click on this link and visit Rosemary's I Wish I Had Written This from Friday.  She featured the poem "Fragile Flowers" by Ronald Kleiman, which is wonderful read.  On Monday, Sherry Blue Sky will be featuring a Blog of the Week of one of our regulars here in the Poetry Pantry.  Come back Monday, and you will find out whose blog is being featured.  Smiles.  And Wednesday,  just as a heads up, for Midweek Motif Susan will be inspiring us to write on a topic that has (one way or another) touched many of us:  Cancer.  As you can see, we have a very full schedule & hope you follow us on Facebook as well.

If you have any photos that you think would work for Poetry Pantry, drop me an email at dixibear@aol.com letting me know what you have.

And now, on to the most important thing, sharing a poem today.  Please link your ONE poem using Mr. Linky below.  After you have linked, be sure to visit others who have linked, and then return at various times during the day to visit the new posters.  We at Poets United believe in reciprocity & community as a way of getting to know one another & supporting one another's creative endeavors.

After you have linked, stop below and say 'hello' to us as well...if you wish...as another way of community interaction.

  1. Good morning poets.. what a great day it is here compared to the one outside.. I intend to go out running later, but the wet snow and drizzle make it difficult to motivate myself.. Your Japan pictures are wonderful Scott..

  6. Good morning, everyone. We are in the middle of a winter storm, the worst of the season. So.....it will be a "Snowbound" kind of day.

  14. Forgive me today - just returned to NY a few days again after being stranded visiting family in Florida - (meeting two adorable twin grand-nephews)... Came home and promptly was down and out for the count having brought with me a major little kid's cold. Still feeling my way out and about.

  17. Good morning everyone. I am happy to see those of you who I kind of lost poet touch with when I pulled back from being involved in too many sites (for me). I hope now to start using Poetry Pantry again. We are having a beautiful day here in Southern California, sunny and just warm enough. Write on all!

  20. Lovely photos. Japan seems to be yet another beautiful and intriguing country I'm unlikely to get to, so the virtual travelling is a gift! It will probably take me a while to read everyone's work, as I have become aware that trying to get to everyone quickly can mean too-hasty reading and missing the finer points. So my personal policy from now on will be to give your poems the time I need to appreciate them fully.

  22. Those are really great pics!! I've had a little writers block lately, so I've linked a poem from my blog that I wrote some time ago, but have never shared here. Hopefully I'll be out of this rut soon and be back with something new.
