Poetry Pantry #348

Lithuanian Eggs

Good Sunday, everyone!  Hope you are all looking forward to sharing poetry today.

We, once again, had a great week here at Poets United...beginning with Sherry's update with Susie Clevenger on Monday, followed by Susan's "April" Midweek Motif, and Rosemary's Friday feature of 'Nine Poems' by Australian poet Geoff Prince.  Geoff is definitely my kind of guy (smiles), as he manages to write meaningful short verse, which I personally appreciate.  Take a look.

Monday Sherry has another wonderful feature in store for us.  She features three poets who write about a subject close to their hearts.  Sumana's Midweek Motif on Wednesday is 'books.'  I am sure most of us poets will have a lot to say about that!

With no further delay, let's share poetry.  Link your one poem below.  Stop in to say hello, and then (very importantly) visit other poets who share poetry.  It's an important part of being community with one another.  I look forward to seeing you on the trail!

  14. It's been a busy month and last week was a whirlwind. For the first time in ages I didn't write at all. I jotted down a few lines but that was it. Today I'm happy to post a poem for spring and Easter.

I think I got my reading done the week before but if not I'm so sorry! It's not often I don't get my reading done so I'll do better with this post.

I hope everyone has a good week I hope to write more this week. Hugs!
