Poetry Pantry #423

Greetings, friends!  I don't know about you, but it seems that these weeks keep moving faster and faster.  It seems like only yesterday that it was spring here.  We have already passed through summer and are in the middle of autumn; and soon (horrors) it will be winter.  Someone please slow down time!  Smiles.

Thank you, Rosemary, for the poem "October" by Edward Thomas that you shared for The Living Dead.  I had never heard of this poet, but really appreciated how he depicted autumn!

Monday be sure to return and read Sherry's Blog of the Week - a visit with a Canadian poet who is relatively new to PU; but it will be wonderful to get to know more about her.

Next week Sumana's Midweek Motif will be The Owl.

With no further delay, let's share some poetry.  Link your one poem below.  Stop into the comments and say hello.  And visit the poems of others who post.  I look forward of reading what you share

  5. Hi everyone. This week we are expecting very high tides and big, wild waves. I will find some safe perches from which to watch this glory, in search of the Elusive Perfect Wave Shot. Smiles.

  7. Happy Sunday or such day as it is :)

I'm late and lacking ... for poetic mojo ... lately, now, perhaps tomorrow - but swirling ideas and I've managed to create, scratch out a vignette of sorts ... so it's here, for my pantry walk.

I'm looking forward to reading today and resting in words. Thanks for hosting Mary and a most good day to all.

  8. I hope everyone has had a great weekend. Just a little haiku from me this Sunday as I'm driving my husband to the station shortly.

  10. Hey poets! Visiting my Mom. I find she keeps me busier than ever. I'm sleeping instead of writing today, and it will take a long time to come round to your poems.
