I am sorry I am late in commenting on it, but life got in the way! I DO very much like the short lines, as in this poem they work to get across the message....as you said. And really he made me think about thinking about the day we have in front of us. Something good could happen or something bad. And, at the end...."There is no house like the house of belonging." So very true! REALLY a wonderful share!Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07366010389846904663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139625267522039683.post-32018894978106082282016-01-23T16:44:49.912-05:002016-01-23T16:44:49.912-05:00Thanks Rosemary for introducing us to David. I, too, find it affirming. I love his description of the temple of his adult aloneness. I also enjoyed the way the lines flowed down the page with the same golden syrupy feeling as the colour of the light he is describing.......and the richness of the feelings he experienced. Thanks for this wonderful offering, my friend.Sherry Blue Skyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10769154286598233146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139625267522039683.post-3812703845263849252016-01-22T18:20:22.480-05:002016-01-22T18:20:22.480-05:00:):)Rosemary Nissen-Wadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05913841031559499568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139625267522039683.post-57694733636720417882016-01-22T13:18:03.954-05:002016-01-22T13:18:03.954-05:00Love pd this, Rosemary. I think that is a feeling we know all too well, ambivalent perspectives on what a day could hold.

P.S.
