I think it is probably one of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. Robert Gray also wrote about it in his poem about a train journey up north from his " Creekwater Journal " collection also featuring another poem about "The Pass" at Byron.I cannot remember either of the titles. I left your neck of the woods in 2007 and have not been back since. It certainly is a unique area rich in inspiration.rallentandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06980559347805844568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139625267522039683.post-52577123387130918082012-10-12T10:41:39.811-04:002012-10-12T10:41:39.811-04:00Rosemary, you know the BEST poets! I especially loved "in dreamy lands, the reading of signs is unprofitable".........and the whales "grazing" on the frozen sea. Fantastic imagery and scope in this poem. I just love it. Thanks for featuring this very talented man. I would love to make that journey by car.Sherry Blue Skyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10769154286598233146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139625267522039683.post-62951272089889490132012-10-12T09:31:17.015-04:002012-10-12T09:31:17.015-04:00Wow!
