The Thursday Tink Tank - #16 Autumn

Autumn seems to inspire many writers and artists. It is a time of year that flourishes with colors and cool breezes. For some, fall is a welcome time of year one that ushers in holidays, family and a whole slew of other cheerful occasions (football happens to me one for me). Fall can also bring with it a melancholy feeling or somber times. It signifies a dying of summer and all that was new. It’s a way of preparing us for the coming cold and sometimes harsh winter.

What does fall inspire in you? Do you think of rolling around in the leaves, laying upon your back while the cool wind whips at your flush cheeks? Do you huddle inside by the fire? What do you think of when the leaves change and the air begins to nip. We are eager to see what topic of autumn inspires to leap from your fingers to the keyboard.

    Ah... divine. Scarborough Fair. A perennial favourite. Thanks Robert. I fear I'll have to post an older piece, since it's Spring in the Southern Hemisphere - I'm not feeling very Autumnal :)
