The Poetry Pantry
2nd Chance Poems or 1st time shares
Anything goes!! All Poems, all Poets, All Week!!
Do you have a poem you would like to share? Something that you just felt inspired to write and want others to read. Perhaps it’s a poem that didn’t get as much exposure on your blog as you would have liked. Maybe it’s a poem that you wrote a long time ago that you would like people to revisit. That’s what this section of Poets United is for.
Each Sunday we start a new post with a New Mr. Linky for you. This is so that you can post a link to anything you want us to read, anything at all related to poetry or prose found on your own poetry blogs. It will remain open all week so that you can show us your writings and thoughts. You can post links weekly should you chose to do so. What poetry you put here is up to you so don't be afraid to share with us!!
There 3 simple rules:
1. Don’t link to more than 3 poems per week.
2. Please visit some of the other poems linked here when you link to yours.
3. Leave a comment after you have posted
your link.
your link.

New training at work, a new banking system, and the trainer hates me. I have felt so defeated this past week, not sure what the next two weeks will bring in the way of writing. So many feelings to purge so little time.
BalasPadamJust a day in the life...
BalasPadamOne of our dachshunds recently died from a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake bite. We were in my Mission Garden; she, only 3 feet from me.

BalasPadamThis is the last poem I shall be writing for Rob Kistner's "Writer's Island". It tries to honour the thoughts and photo in his post.
BalasPadamPosted one I wrote last week and have as today's post on my blog
BalasPadamI wrote this a couple of days ago - it is a short poem. A haiku.
BalasPadamMy frist true attempt with feet and meter. To write with such a structure was like pulling a tooth. I used a picture as a muse, therefore, I feel the poem was not from my heart, rather my head. Would love some input. How did I do? A new poet here, starting writing poetry last April. Thanks in advance.

Mine is an attempt at Proper Poetry. A sonnet, no less!

I think I accidentally just linked my blog home page instead of just one poem. But this morning I posted a few poems that I have written over the last days while we were away from Internet contact for the July 4 weekend. I never do much writing while we are away from home but I am making more effort to do so. Just pick one of the first few poems and comment if you like!
BalasPadamNot one, but two from me here...
BalasPadamThis is not a poem, but a bit of a rant about "The Redress of Poetry."
