  7. Thanks for the wonderful prompt, Susan!! It prompted me to write a poem from my imagination, I think, I have abnormal fear of water...(acquaphobia). So it didn't take long for me to plunge into that deep sea. Smiles...
Lovely pics...like sherry said, I too lovedd the dog in the water :) Thank you.
Hope everything went on well. It's quite late now, I shall come back to read the other poems tomorrow.

    1. Amazing poem! If that's only imagination ....! AS for me: I keep checking unspecified leg pain--a little more than sciatica and a little less than actual broken bones. It's probably just bruised muscles, but all I've been doing different is treading water in a pool at a gym! Talk about swimming ...

  8. Hi Susan,

My take on this week's motif is an inspirational poem I published to my blog last year that uses swimming as a metaphor. Good night.

    1. Thanks for posting, James. We don't usually accept old poems for this new-poem prompt--we save that for the Sunday Pantry. But, hey ...

  9. Susan,

Leaving a new poem with Poets United today. An excellent motif, with plenty of room for interpretation...
    Best wishes,

    1. I don't think you read these comments. You never explain why you don't use the linky. I've asked several times and so has Mary.

    1. Good to see you, Anjum. I found a poem you wrote on the 10th of November, Anjum. Was this the one you intended for this swimming motif?

  12. I'm embarrassed to admit that I never learned how to swim. Almost drowned once, learning. But that's not what I wrote about. Thanks for the promt Susan.
