Patti Wolf's Photos of Wisconsin (USA) Waters
Greetings, Friends! Where did February go? Hard to believe it is already the first day of March. I don't know about the rest of you, but it seems that this winter has been very, very long.
Thank you, Patti (Wolfrosebud), for providing the wonderful photos for today's Pantry! Of course, I know firsthand what a beautiful state it is; but I think that Patti's photos show it off to the max.
Remember to check back with Poets United on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as well. On these days you can enjoy the features that Sherry, Susan, and Rosemary provide.
With no further delay, enjoy reading poetry today. Post your poem using Mr. Linky. Write a comment below saying 'hi' so we get to know you a bit; and then read some poetry. Be sure to comment on the poems of others as you read.
Have a great poetic week!
Hello friends, a very Happy Sunday to you all...ah who says water has no color...beautiful photos Patti :)
BalasPadamGreetings from Greece!
BalasPadamGood morning, everyone!
Thank you Patti, for these images of effervescent energy amid your spectacular surroundings!
Patti, I have left you two comments, one just a minute ago, and the other early, last Sunday morning, commenting on your wonderful poem, 'The Day I Fell in Love', which I believe might be lingering in your Spam box, as was the case with two other contributors. Could you please have a look? I wasn't able to locate your email on your blog, and since you also show up as a noreply-comment blogger in my inbox, I had no way of contacting you, and luckily, found another opportunity, here in this forum.
Thank you.
Happy March 1st!
Poppy

BalasPadamGood morning, Friends! Looking forward to some good poetry today. At the beginning of winter I wondered if it will ever end. Now it does seem to be on the wane. I can just smell spring in the air, though the cold lingers. Happy March.

BalasPadamThose are beautiful photos! Inspired by the leaf I expanded on a poetic thought I got the other day while walking the dogs. :-)
BalasPadamGood morning...it is official, we have had the coldest month on record here....yesterday the high and low were 20 degrees below normal and that is what the whole month has been like....so I am ready to let winter go. Patti these pictures are perfect to warm me up and get ready for spring. I loved visiting Wisconsin when I was a child growing up in Northern Indiana.
BalasPadamTime to go visiting and read some wonderful poems.

Patti---what gorgeous photos....there is just something about fall leaves floating in water that is so poetic to me....and in the second-to-last photo, the color of the water is divine and the sand on the beach looks so smooth and pure. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing :-)

Daneshwari, just read your poem and tried to leave a comment. After trying several times, I gave up (google doesn't seem to like my ID and password), sorry. I really like what you wrote and it reminded me of something Clarrissa Pinkola Estes wrote about how nothing is ever truly lost from the human psyche. There is always hope for the things we choose to "throw away."
