On Monday, it is - so soon I can scarcely believe it - Mary's and my "See you in the 'sphere!" feature. And we will, never fear! We still love poetry! And all of you.
On Wednesday, Sanaa has an intriguing prompt for us at Midweek Motif: A Million Years Howl When Voices Whisper Among the Trees. That stirs my Wild Woman muse. I suspect some wolves may show up in the poem I write in response. Smiles.
Next Friday, Rosemary is continuing her series of features under the new name: Wild Fridays. I love that title. Her first Wild Friday features an Australian poet who is only thirteen years old; she was the youngest poet performing at a Spoken Word event alongside Rosemary. You won't want to miss this feature. I am enchanted. I love it when the young speak up, in their clear voices.
But now, it is Sunday. Let's settle in with our coffee cups, and read some of your wonderful poems! Thank you for joining us every Sunday. We wouldn't be here without you.
Good morning, poets! It is midnight on the West Coast, where we are enjoying a streak of golden sunny days and colourful sunsets. Yay! I am looking forward to reading you when I wake up in the morning.
BalasPadamGood morning everyone!💞 It's a crisp and cool weather out here. Thank you so much for everything that you do, Mary and Sherry 😘 we will definitely see you around the blogosphere!
BalasPadamI have a special treat for you guys this Sunday!😊 Tim and I have a collaborative poem that we would like to share with you! 💞
It was a wonderful experience writing alongside him as we discovered that we share the love for Autumn and let it flow into the poem. We hope you enjoy it and look forward to reading your thoughts 💞
Your collaboration resulted in the most wonderful poem! I was blown away.
PadamIt's Diwali here folks, wish you all love and light. Will come by tomorrow to read. Have a lovely day.
BalasPadamHappy Diwali, Rajani! May love and light shine in all hearts.
PadamHappy Diwali, Rajani! Hope love and light will shine everywhere!!
PadamGood afternoon everyone and a happy diwali :) may your year be filled with light , sweets and laughter like today
BalasPadamI wish I had thought to honour Diwali in my post. Sigh.
PadamAnd yours too!
PadamSherry and Mary- May your voices continue! Happy Diwali to those who celebrate-and a happy Sunday to all!
BalasPadamHappy Diwali, Vivian. Thanks for being here.
PadamHello... a grey autumn day, I will be back later.
BalasPadamLovely to see you, Bjorn.
BalasPadamGood morning one and all! Glad to be here this cool and crisp morning in Humble Texas. 🎃😁
BalasPadamHi Carrie!
PadamGood morning.
BalasPadamHope it is a good one, where you are.
PadamI like your witchy pics, Sherry even while cringing at the thought that kiddies here will be dressing up and going trick or treating (with the emphasis on treats) on a warm evening here in Australia, ad still daylight at the time they do it. We have copied Halloween from America, with no idea that it's the wrong time of year for it. I guess I'll get some lollies in, just in case some come knocking (they don't always make it up the hill to the quiet street I live in). For me this time of year is Beltane, representing purification, fertility and creativity.
BalasPadamHalloween does tend to need darkness, chill and crackling fires, somehow.
PadamGood day to all of you! I am really enjoying your poetry, but suddenly realized that I had not stopped in to say hello. Children will be out trick or treating today here. It is not my favorite holiday (LOL) due to soooo many sweet things that no one needs. But, oh well, it is fun. Wishing each of you a wonderful day.
BalasPadamHere they come out on Thursday night. And the adults in all the shops get into the act. Our pharmacist appeared in drag last year. I didnt recognize him, lol.
PadamGood day, everyone! :)
BalasPadamAnd a Happy Deepavali to those celebrating the festival.
Hi Lee San. I wish I had thought to with everyone Happy Diwali in my blurb. The old grey head, she aint what she used to be. Smiles.
PadamGood Morning all- another beautiful day here in Arizona! It's amazing that while others are shoveling snow, we are enjoying some of the best weather we have all year. Of course, in order to do so, we have to withstand the 110 degrees F + days of summer. Mary and Sherry- Your voices are and will continue to be so inspirational. Have a lovely week all!
BalasPadamThank you for your kind words, Linda. We appreciate them, and you. Here on the West Coast, our temps stay very mild in winter, thankfully. Snow is rare, thin when it comes, and melts right away.
PadamGood afternoon! It is a lovely rainy cool day here - hooray! I cannot believe that Oct 31 will spell the witching hour for Sherry and Mary. The two of you are so wonderful and loving. I have submitted a poem about a true ghost story here in Richmond and the horrors of war. I hope it gives everyone pause about the horrors. Hapy Trails Sherry and Mary - may the sun always smile upon you, the moon watch over you at night, and the rain gently kiss your sweet faces.
BalasPadamOh what lovely wishes, Toni.....thank you so much! You warm our hearts.
PadamGray fall day here. And coming to grips with back to wintertime. Thanks for all lovely Sunday reading everyone!
BalasPadamWe have a feast in the Pantry today! Thank you, everyone!
PadamGood morning, all. And thanks, Sherry, for a spirited greeting this Sunday!
BalasPadamI do love the witchy season! Smiles.
