MORE PHOTOS OF SLOVENIA
by Natasa Dolenc
Greetings, Friends! Hope everyone is having a good day. Here in my area the fall colors are beautiful. There is a bit of chill in the air. Football season has many excited. It is a glorious time of year.
Today we have some more beautiful photos by Natasa Dolenc. They really make me want to visit Slovenia. Thanks, Natasa.
Wasn't that a wonderful chat between Rosemary and Sherry last Monday? It was not only an interesting post, but the discussion that followed was fantastic. Do take a look back if you missed it: A Chat With Rosemary Nissen-Wade on Poetry and Witchcraft. And this coming Monday Sherry has an update with one of our regular posters in the Sunday Pantry. Stay tuned.
Sumana had a good topic on Wednesday for Midweek Motif: Fire. Scroll back if you want to read some good poems. Susan's prompt next week for Midweek Motif next Wednesday is Gravity. Think about all of the different definitions, and begin to reflect!
Be sure to scroll back to the post before this one and read Rosemary Nissen-Wade's The Living Dead post on Aleister Crowley and his poem "The Four Winds." Rosemary finds the most interesting poems and poets, doesn't she?
With no further delay, let's share some poetry. Link your poem below. Stop in and say hello. Then spend time visiting others who post, as we all enjoy visits.
Good morning, I love that breath of summer in the wonder of the images.
ReplyDeleteMore lovely images! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThank you once again for opening the pantry doors - i love the red birds..they seem to be floating on top the grass - and they match the colour of the roofs!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos, especially the one with the birds! It has been awhile but I finally was able to write another poem. It's good to be back and I look forward to reading everyone's poems later today.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. My comment on your poem bounced back to me, so I'll put it here: Susan has left a new comment on your post "Poetry and Procreate: White
DeleteFlag":
I LOVE the picture! Even though she is dwarfed by her landscape, she is
brighter and stronger than anything in it! The poem is very thoughtful, a
reluctant letting go and a surrender. But of what? I've thought and thought
about it and wonder if we might not share a wicked grin with that youngster
and love her the way we wished a parent had done it. For the narrator here,
maybe the longing is to be encouraged to leave the safety of the nest? This
is quite beautiful.
good day, everyone!
ReplyDeleteah, more pictures of Slovenia. thanks, Natasa. :)
Hello everyone,
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a wonderful weekend :D sharing my poem "Wish she knew" hope you guys like it. Thank you Natasa for another round of beautiful pictures.
Lots of love,
Sanaa
