Tofino Waves at Wickaninnish
Happy April Fools Day, friends. Mary is having a day off today, so I thought I'd share some winter waves with you, with these photos taken in January. I love the winter blue tones.
It was a great week at Poets United. We started the week off with Bjorn and Grace, talking about their beautiful new anthology, Chiaroscuro. Sumana's prompt at Midweek Motif, Treasure, got some good responses, and on Friday Rosemary featured Edna St. Vincent Millay, such a beloved poet. Stop in on Monday, as we are featuring Totomai. Not only is he a wonderful poet, he is an exemplary photographer, and is sharing some spectacular photos and videos with us. What a treat! And on Wednesday, if you like to work ahead, Susan is offering the topic: Beginnings, which offers a lot of scope.
Let's enjoy some poetry with our Sunday morning coffee. Link your poem, and be sure to visit the other poets, in the spirit of reciprocity. I am so looking forward to reading what you have to share.
Happy Easter / Happy Solstice
to one and all
Good morning... and happy Easter. Today I will be preparing lamb for guests... will pop in and out during the day.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter everyone!💖
ReplyDeleteIncredible photographs, Sherry ... breathtaking. I've got a very busy day ahead of me tomorrow. I've actually, just finished wrapping some Easter treats for the the little ones, and am heading off to bed - already behind schedule - but I will catch up, eventually, though I'll likely be running late ... make that very late. Smiles.
ReplyDeleteGood morning fellow poets and writers, I shall return later to read as I've a busy day ahead. I really like today's choice of pics, so thanks for sharing them.

ReplyDeleteHappy Spring bunnies to you, Sherry! I wish I could step right into the beauty of these photos, and lose myself.
ReplyDeleteKids, there is something wrong with Mr Linky and Mary tried but said the site is down right now. (So sorry to disturb your day off, Mary!) We are hoping your links will pop back up when they get it sorted out........meanwhile, any latecomers can leave your links here in comments. Sigh. Technology does have its stressful moments.
ReplyDeleteStill not working, I just tried it.
DeleteMr. Linky is still not working--I just tried it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to those who celebrate. Lots of love to everyone.
I'm going to put the link to my poem here, but know you won't be able to comment on it because I shut down comments for poetry month. I'm going to post some really rough stuff, as I try to (w)rite every day. Haven't done that for a while! Email me if you have constructive criticism--otherwise, just enjoy. Thanks.

Sorry about your tough times Susan. I don't do poetry month. If you don't feel up to it, let it go. Take care of you.
DeleteIs this and April's fool joke? No linky list? LOL
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to see Mr Linky is back up and gave us back all of your links. Whew. I was stressing out that I had pushed a wrong button, lol.
ReplyDeleteHi everyone. Thank you Sherry for taking over for Mary today and for sharing the breathtaking photos of Tofino waves. It is definitely going on my bucket list to visit one day.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful spot, Toni.....I'll give you the inside scoop when you do plan a trip!
DeleteThey whole Mr. Linky site was inaccessible for a time. I am glad to see that it is working now and that links are all there. Sherry, thanks for taking over today. I am recuperating from a virus that really knocked me for a loop!
ReplyDeleteI am only too happy to, Mary. So sorry there was a linky crisis right in the middle of it. LOL. Was so happy when everything popped up again! Rest and get better!
DeleteGood Morning, Poets! Thanks, Sherry, for the beautiful photographs! See you all on the poetry trail! :)
