Light represents so many things. Light offers hope, it provides us with insight, and the proverbial bright idea. I also think of candles and birthdays. Candle light could lend one to think of romance. All things light illuminate our world. What does light mean to you? What do you see when you hear this word? This song comes to my mind, "This little light of mine" "....let it shine, let it shine, let it shine..." Are you singing with me? lol I could go on and on...but what really matters is what comes into your mind when you think of light! Our prompt for this week is LIGHT! Pen a poem inspired by light! I look forward to reading your luminescent poems~

Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. ~Chinese Proverb
People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within.
~Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
We cannot hold a torch to light another's path without brightening our own. ~Ben Sweetland
