hey susan...cool...and just in time for valentines....i wrote a much longer piece tday but love is a central theme...i wont link, but will see if i can't write a shorter one for you in the comments here in a bit....

tickling, from a fresh poured coca~cola;
butterflies inside me
each time our lips meet.
friends slide, up my legs,
warm well worn torn blue jeans;
your arms each morning begging me to stay.

asphalt stretches, between horizons,
reflecting in the rear view mirror, shine;
whispers carry forever to my ears from your mouth.
everything i see, taste, touch

and i haven't even got to work yet.

DeleteI'm happy to be here today, on this brand new day with love in it. My poem is about love at age 18 in 1969, about what was around me, not about the love I woke up in today. Can't wait to read POETRY with love motifs!
