Today we have photos taken by De Jackson! Stop back tomorrow and learn more about the photographer, as her blog is being featured for Sherry's Blog of the Week! Shhhh...don't tell anyone I told. (Smiles.)
And on Wednesday for Midweek Motif, we welcome Susan Back. Yeahhh!! Her prompt this week is a well-timed one, I think. It is "Recovery: love is healing."
Take a look back one day to Rosemary's I Wish I'd Written This, where she shares "Carpe Diem" by Agnellius and Daniel Serebryany. Rosemary prepares such informative and interesting articles each week.
If you have Facebook, do think about following Poets United on Facebook. That way you are informed of each new feature.
Do have a good day & a poetic week! Thank you for making Poets United such a successful site! See you as I make my rounds! And I hope to see you at the other Poets United features this week.
Thank you for the feast that is Poetry Pantry - and gorgeous photos - the heart shape leaf shadow - gorgeous! And look forward to tomorrow ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jae Rose. I love unexpected valentines. :)
DeleteThe one surprise that is nice!
DeleteWhat a beautiful spot to spend Sunday in these pictures of Lake Tahoe. Magical pictures of shadow and light. Wishing everyone a great Sunday.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Donna. I wish I was there right now. ;) Happy Sunday!
DeleteHello everyone!!! My piece has to do with Netflix! It's getting cold so best time to cuddle up and enjoy online movies!!! Have a wonderful week everyone!!!
ReplyDeleteJames, I am jealous of your weather change. Here in Southern Nevada, it is still over 100 at the peak of day. Sigh. I loved your piece. Enjoy your Netflix!
DeleteWonderful beauty of water and polished rocks. I will be back later to read
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sir. Tahoe offers endless inspiration, for me.
DeleteGood morning! I sense it is going to be a great day for poetic journey. See you along the way...
ReplyDeleteMary, thank you so much for sharing my photos this morning. :) I've made it around to everybody so far, and am thankful for the poetic inspiration today.

ReplyDeletebut will visit some.
Sorry you're not feeling it today, X. Perhaps a wordlist from our Shawna is in order? ;)
DeleteBreathing in Blue...that is my mood today..blue..
ReplyDelete..mine is ..yellow today :)
DeleteMy mood is always blue, leaning toward indigo. ;) Hope you're breathing easier, Truedessa.
DeleteThis 'shhhh...' photo magical....and 'balance' too....thanks for posting/hosting. new start for me this week...Happy Super moon, everyone!
ReplyDeleteThank you, humbird. Happy Super moon! (And thanks for the reminder!)
Deletewow!!! the photos have wowed me; last September Sunday for this year
ReplyDeletehave a good Sunday every one
much love...
Thank you, Gillena. Happy Sunday!
DeleteDe, that second photo (and title!!!) ... breathtaking, my dear. :)
ReplyDeleteThank ya, ma'am. That one was my muse today.
DeleteSpeaking of muses, X needs one of your word lists. ;)
If he wants one, he will ask. And so will you. :) I'm always happy to make them. But I don't think his lack of inspiration has anything to do with not feeling moved by these stunning photos; I'm pretty sure he's just really sad about his friend dying. It's so hard to write when your heart is crushed like that.
DeleteAwww. I'm SO sorry to hear this. Sending all prayers and good thoughts.
DeleteHey everyone,
ReplyDeleteHope you are all having a wonderful weekend :D its Eid ul Azha here and festivities are in full swing. I ll be back to read and comment a bit later.
Lots of love
Sanaa
Good morning, Sanaa. Happy Sunday!
DeleteI m back :D and diving in.. thanks for the beautiful pictures De
DeleteThank you for the chance to share.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday, Gail!
DeleteGood Morning, all. Mary, thank you for hosting. I love De's photos - all spectacular. I especially like the one called Balance, a feat of gravity, balancing rocks in that way. I come upon them here along the river and lake, sometimes, each passerby adding his or her own little stack. I am looking forward to some good reading this morning, and an otherwise leisurely Sunday. Yay! Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Sherry. :)
DeleteI always love when I stumble upon these kind of "balance rocks." It's as though someone has left a gift behind, waiting for me. And YES, a progressive work of art, added to by others.
Oh my, what beautiful photos!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Annell. Happy Happy Sunday!
DeleteThose pictures are gorgeous. Can't wait for Sherry's post tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary for your loyal presence every Sunday. Hope you're having a good one.
Lots of great writing here today. I am enjoying everyone's writing. I thank so many of you for your loyalty to Poetry Pantry and also am always glad to see some new faces. Keep your poetry coming!
ReplyDeleteOoops. Mary, I just noticed your header. Our favorite part of the Northshore of Lake Tahoe is actually in Nevada. ;) Sorry for any confusion.
ReplyDeleteI will change it! Sorry.
DeleteNo worries. ;)
DeleteScrumptious photos, De. Even here you excel with less is more. Love the pine needles. I put some in a poem earlier today. I've been distracted by my Quaker meeting today and then coming home and hanging on images of the Pope's visit. I'll visit everyone by the end of tomorrow. LOVE it here, the warmth of home!
ReplyDeleteNice to see you, Susan! I too have been distracted by the Pope's visit in a good sort of way. Nothing wrong with that!!
DeleteThank you so much, Susan.
DeleteIncredible photography. Looking forward to checking out the posts.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Wendy.
DeleteThey are indeed lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rosemary. :)
DeleteThis is beautiful. Simply, naturally, beautiful
