1918 - Ohio, USA - first Daylight Savings Time official clocks needed to be hand set! |
Greetings, Poets! For those of us in the United States, today is the first day of Daylight Savings time, also known as Summer Time. I know different parts of the world do this differently, begin summer time later, or don't change clocks at all. Anyway, I am hoping that spring is not far away. Smiles.
Tomorrow Sherry will be featuring poems of the week by three of our prolific poet. And on Wednesday Sumana's Midweek Motif will be Scream! (Yes, sometime I think we all would like to just scream. Here's your chance to write about it.)
Hope you took a look at the poem Rosemary shared - "House Rules" by British poet Esther Morgan- in her Thought Provoker series. It was indeed thought-provoking. Read it and you will see.
With no further delay, let's share poetry. Link your poem below. Stop in and say hello. Visit the poems of others who link. Look forward to seeing you on the trail.
Happy Sunday everyone!💞
BalasPadamSomething is wrong with your link Sanaa--I can't get to your page
PadamSorry there was a server problem. It's resolved now.
PadamHi Sanaa--I hope you see this--I am still getting to a different page than yours when I click on any of the links--
PadamHello all, have a great sunday and I look forward to reading this afternoon.
BalasPadamGood morning... no Daylight savings time here yet... I will be back to read later in the afternoon/evening
BalasPadamA great Sunday to all! It's also Mother's day in the UK.... so my sentiments also to all mums out there. I look forward to reading your gems later on today.
BalasPadamAh, happy Mothers Day to those in the UK who are celebrating today!
PadamHappy Sunday! I am also looking for spring as we have had back to back snow storms and March is predicted to be more like winter all month instead of spring....which is why my poem this week is looking for signs of spring. Have a great day everyone and I'll be around throughout the day! Happy Mother's Day in the UK so wishing all the moms everywhere a great day!!
BalasPadamHappy Sunday! I'm just catching up after being away for a week, staying at my daughter's house while she was in hospital giving birth to my grandson. :)
BalasPadamAnd happy Mother's Day (in the UK)!
BalasPadamGood morning again, Friends. I am looking forward to reading your poetry today, and I thank those of you who have already commented on my poem. MUCH appreciated.
BalasPadammuch joy to you all this Sunday... with the clocks moving forward... spring is almost upon us..:)
BalasPadamGreetings Mary and All,
BalasPadamJust in time for Spring, a new poem was published on my site earlier in the week. Hope you enjoy. Good to be back here again and looking forward to catching up with everyone else’s work today too...
Good day, everyone!
BalasPadamlooking forward to the goodies in the pantry. :)
I'm looking forward to reading some lovely poetry. I'm having a problem with many of my comments coming back as "undeliverable"...I'm not sure how to solve that. :/
BalasPadamDazed and confused...what time is it.
BalasPadamZQ
Wishing everyone a happy Sunday as we spring forward!
BalasPadamI am SO READY to scream. LOL. The news right now is talking about the possibility of trump being nominated for the nobel peace prize. I dont think I can take much more. OMG. Rabbit Hole to Planet Earth! Well, at least spring is still coming. On a wing and a prayer.
BalasPadamThe nomination was fraudulent....at least according to what I read.
PadamHi everyone! Happy sunday! Happy Mother's Day to all in the UK! I'll be back later to read and comment.
BalasPadamLate to this party but so happy to be here! Just ready your post above Sherry! WTF!
BalasPadamHi, I shared a tanaga. Rhyme is my nemesis, but I tackled it.
BalasPadamHad difficulty navigating Sanaa Rizvi's site????
BalasPadamYa, something seems to be wrong with it. It was ok when I commented earlier.
PadamSorry there was a server problem. It's resolved now.
