“Three may keep a secret, if two of them are dead.”
~Benjamin Franklin
Do angels whisper secrets to you in your sleep? Do you have a secret you want to scream from the top of your lungs, a burden you are holding? Some secrets are better left unsaid while others are held for silly reasons. As children we always whispered “It’s a secret” right before we begun to tell someone all about it. Maybe your secret hides a treasure or the fountain of youth. Secrets can be a great many things, good or bad and we want to see what adventures they take you on.
This week write about a secret. Any secret will do. Government plots, Special hideaways and escapes, maybe a shortcut to avoid traffic or a pesky neighbor. Whatever you’re inspired to write share it with us here at Poets United. Your secret will be safe with us. We’ll never tell a soul.
If you have a prompt idea (even a Music or Film inspired one) that you would like to suggest or share with us please send it to poetsunited@ymail.com . We keep a folder set aside with all your suggestions and just might use it one day.
There 3 simple rules:
1. Don’t link to more than 3 poems per week.
2. Please visit some of the other poems linked here when you link to yours.
3. Leave a comment after you have posted your link.

I searched DEEP withing my subconscious, and through a third eye.....wrote this poem. I hope you all can see through these words. Peace, love, and light to you all.
ReplyDeleteMy conscience wouldn't allow me not to disclose these two: One, I suffer from Poemiosis; two, I am related to W.Y.B Yeats! Enjoy the poems.
