Kids, Carol Stephen of Quillfyre says she thinks of herself as an “emerging poet,”
but I beg to differ.......I think we will find this poet has Fully Emerged! As I sleuthed around her blog, I discovered that Carol is a well-known and active member of the writing community in
Ottawa, Canada's capital city. A member of the League of Canadian Poets, she has won awards and honorable mentions, and the Tree Reading Series recently proclaimed her one of "Four Hot Ottawa Voices”. Wow. Come along with me. For a long time now, I have badly wanted to take a train across Canada to Ottawa, as I did in my misguided youth, so this is the perfect occasion. And, when we get there, since it's Canada, we must have at least two cups of Red Rose tea while we visit.
