Poetry Pantry - #105

The Poetry Pantry
2nd Chance Poems or 1st time shares

Anything goes!! All Poems, all Poets, All Week!!

Do you have a poem you would like to share? Something that you just felt inspired to write and want others to read. Perhaps it’s a poem that didn’t get as much exposure on your blog as you would have liked. Maybe it’s a poem that you wrote a long time ago that you would like people to revisit. That’s what this section of Poets United is for.

Each Sunday we start a new post with a New Mr. Linky for you. This is so that you can post a link to anything you want us to read, anything at all related to poetry or prose found on your own poetry blogs. It will remain open all week so that you can show us your writings and thoughts. You can post one link weekly should you chose to do so. What poetry you put here is up to you so don't be afraid to share with us!!

There 3 simple rules:

1. Link only one poem per week.

2. Please visit several other poems linked here when you link to yours. Please
don't just link and run, waiting for others to visit you.

3. Leave a comment after you have posted
your link.

  6. Mine is not strictly a poem, I suppose, but I like to think it is a visual poem. In any case it is Canada Day, and I thought I could sneak it in. :-)

    3. It's a good idea, really, since we have so many poets. After my Blue Screen of Death computer meltdown, I can truly say, I am so glad to be back. Mary, thanks for hosting! Believe it or not, I posted something calm and wistful for once... Peace, Amy

  15. Mary,

I am posting my poem concerned about the rainy weather in England. I am also bearing in mind that there are places in the world which need rain so much. I just want to see summer:)

    Happy Sunday,
    Eileen

    1. Eileen, my poem is about sisters, but in my comments, I also expressed weather concerns about Colorado and about our local farmers in WI, who are facing drought. Ironic, the old saying, "When it rains, it pours." They forgot to mention: "When it doesn't rain, small farmers go out of business..."
