A Friend's Christmas Tree

Greetings, Friends!  For many of us this is a busy time of year, but it also is a good time of year to reflect upon the past and be grateful.  The staff of Poets United - Sherry, Susan, Rosemary, Sumana, and I - would like to wish each of you who celebrate a Happy Holiday.  Also, we'd like to thank you for sharing yourselves and your poetry with us so generously week after week.

After today's pantry we will take approximately a two-week break.  I think we all may need time to rest up and recuperate and renew.  (I know I do...smiles.) We will resume our regular schedule again beginning January 3, 2016 with the first Poetry Pantry of the new year.

But now let's share some poetry.  Link your poem below.  Stop in and say hello.  And visit the poems of others who share their work.  Mr. Linky will stay 'live' until 1 p.m. tomorrow Eastern Time.  I will see you with a new Pantry in the new year.

Great festive images on the site today and Seasonal Best Wishes too from Scottie… Back here, with my new collection finally at the printers, its been kinda difficult deciding what (in a hurry…) to chose from my recent work to post before Christmas! Finally settling on the poem: ‘treasured energies’ see: - http://www.scotthastie.com/?p= So hope it does the trick for you all... Looking forward to catching up with everyone’s stuff later today…

  16. Hey, I feel like the White Rabbit running late today! But I'm going to slow down, eat, go to Meeting--which is for me from 1:30 to 2:30 Eastern--and then return toward evening to indulge and relax in your poetry. Thank you to everyone for your greetings, your experience and your poetry!

  17. Mary, what glorious photos to get us in the festive mood. Must have been wonderful to see them in person. Another year of poetry drawing to a close, another brand new shiny one waiting up ahead. Yippee. I am not sure I can handle a break, so I plan on working on January's features, LOL. Just so I dont get rusty.

A big thank you to my fellow team members who make working together on this site a true joy. And to Mary, for captaining our little ship so well. And to each of you who come week after week so faithfully to share your work. Poets United would not exist without your support.

Looking forward to a brand new year and lots of wonderful poetry. Yay!
