Good day, Poets!

Really hard to believe this is Poetry Pantry #250, isn't it?  Thank you to all of you who join us weekly in our love of sharing Poetry. And thanks to C.C.  for the beautiful photos.

Remember to return as well on Monday.  Sherry has one of her very interesting 'chats' scheduled with a poet who usually participates in Poetry Pantry.  Smiles.  Stay tuned.  And, of course, return on Wednesday for Midweek Motif, where Susan will be prompting us to write about honoring our elders.

Hope you will leave a short comment below & also visit the links of others who post.  Enjoy your day, friends.  I look forward to reading what you share.

  4. Good morning, everyone,

Breathtaking images of my beautiful, native Canada, where I will be on Thursday! Yay!

Have been busy preparing for my trip across the big pond, cleaning house, and finishing off lessons, and finally got a chance to sit down and write something late, (very late!), last night! Missed seeing everyone's contributions, and am off to catch up!

Happy Sunday, and wishing all a fantastic week ahead.

  7. This is one of my April poems that kind of got lost between so many other entries. It's written in an envelope rhyme.
    Thanks for reading,

  8. what beauty thou bestow upon us mother earth. wherefore are the hearts that care little of this? heaven's eye looks down upon those that mal-treat this gift and shall repent in days to come.

  9. Good morning again, Friends! Glad to see a busy pantry once again. My muse was a bit 'sleepy' this week, so I shared a poem I wrote for my prompt over at dVerse earlier in the week. Thanks, poets, for your poetic gifts today!

  13. Exquisite photographs --- I will be back later today to read and to comment - I had not even planned on posting today after the month long April challenge - and a separate page I had some fun with ... nevertheless this poem just appeared from a handful of "wordle" words and wanted to share ... Enjoy the day... Happy May to all :)

  17. I have limited access to my computer all this week, kids, so am already woefully behind. I will, however, catch up as best I can. Here I am starting the Pantry at one in the afternoon, and my time is already behind everyone else's considerably......CC, the photos are BEAUTIFUL. Lovely scenery. Sigh.......okay, diving in, huffing and puffing......

  18. Sherry no need to apologize - it happens.
I'm sharing a handful of sand, a dance with the waves, a butterfly...
C.C., the shots are gorgeous thank you!!!

  19. Yes CC these photos are amazing--almost look like they are paintings. I am trying to get back into writing again after about three weeks traveling and the closure of Poetry Jam. Finding new places to hang out and I see lots of familiar names here. I will visit as many as I can.
