Greetings, Poets!
This week Gabriella has shared photos of Hong Kong.
Be sure to visit Poets United tomorrow to see what Sherry Blue Sky has planned to share. Will it be a featured poet? A featured blog? Or a featured poem?
Glad to see the turnout for Mid-Week Motif Wednesday continues to be good. We hope to see you this coming week for another challenging prompt by Susan Chast!
And on Friday, remember to see who Rosemary Nissen-Wade is featuring on her "I Wish I Had Written This" or "The Living Dead."
I issue an invitation here to those of you who participate in Poetry Pantry. If YOU have special photos that you would like me to feature some week, let me know what kind of photos you have. There are participants here from many different cities, many different countries. I think it is great fun to see different areas featured. I am especially interested in scenic views of your area or an area you have visited. Send inquiries first to dixibear@aol.com letting me know what you have. I am interested in city or country views - in your home area or places you have traveled.
Anyway, with no further adieu, this is one of my favorite spaces to post poetry each week. I hope you look forward to it too. An older one or a new one, it's your choice.
Link your ONE poem. Then leave a comment below. Then visit other poets. And I will too. (If I miss your poem, visit me, and I will visit you... I am like anyone else, appreciating reciprocity.) We ALL like comments, so if you link please DO spend time visiting others. That is part of the fun as well. We really like it if you link back to Poets United too, so we spread the Poetry Pantry word in the blogosphere.
Come back a few times on Sunday and Monday to see what's new. Visit some strangers, and they will become new friends! Making new friends and reading new poetry, what more could one want?
If you are on Facebook, look for us there as well. Join our site. It is one more way to stay in touch!
And now...here is the procedure, for those who are new here: Each Sunday we start a new post with a New Mr. Linky for you. This is so that you can post a link to a poem in your blog. The link will close Monday at 12:00 p.m. (CDT), but you can still visit the links of those who have posted them.
Good morning, poets! I will be away for the most part of the day so will be late visiting and commenting. Hope you all have a very happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteHope everyone is having a good spring so far. I am still waiting for the kind of spring I remember... Sigh. If you post a poem remember to visit others as well. I will be gone much of the day with my granddaughter, so much of my commenting will be do e tonight.....
ReplyDeleteHey Mary! I'll check back in soon. Just came back to my nephew's house after a day at the Cincinnati Zoo. Springlike weather was a gift for the first lengthy walk I've taken in 2 months of recuperation. Tired and smiling.

Goodness gracious, this seems a little cranky. I do visit other poets from this page often. If anyone is interested in the other poets taking part in the Great Poetry Giveaway, or want to give some of their favorite books away, check out Kelli Agodon's blog http://networkedblogs.com/VpZ2i

ReplyDeleteWhat BEAUTIFUL photos, Gabriella! Thank you. Good morning, everyone. I am late as always to the Pantry - my time seems so far behind, here it is only ten a.m. I am not feeling well, but will make my way around to all of you this day, as I need the infusion of your wonderful words to make my Sunday complete!
ReplyDeletesorry you are not feeling well sherry...love your air of gratitude in your verse...even with feeling under the weather.
DeleteSherry hope you feel better soon

Hope you feel better despite my less than cheery words.
DeleteGood Day to All! Happy Sunday! More sun, more like spring the weather. Nice to share and comment! Cool photos, Gabrielle, thanks :)x
ReplyDeleteErin, I had some trouble finding your poetry but once I did, I love it! Couldnt find a place to comment, so will do so here - your haiku set against beautiful images are stunning. Very lovely and meditative.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sherry. I don't often post my own poetry at my blog, but do often post other's work. I prefer to use my blog to shine a light on the lovely poetry I'm reading published by others.
DeleteGood afternoon a gray rainy day here. It is melting the snow in preparation for "Mud season" here in NH. I am moving as slow as the melting snow today.

Hello Poets! Posting from travel and visits--away this week. I am using unfamiliar computers that go faster than I. I am readjusting over and over just to stay in one place. But I will try to check in each day, especially Wednesday. This poem begged to be in the pantry--"The Gambler."
ReplyDeleteGood morning. It's a beautiful day out here and I've just linked one of my poems ( a drabble).Hope you enjoy it. Looking to reading others.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics, Gabriella!! Kolkata is scorching at 40 degrees Celsius...and according to weatherman it is likely to go up a couple of degrees more!! So, took a break from my schedule and wrote a poem...
ReplyDeleteAway from city lights or other interfering light sources, the night sky illuminated by moonlight is blue and Blue is the coolest color! :)
