A little bee-yoo-tiful magic this Sunday morning. We need the bees! We hope this morning finds you well and happy, and with a big cup of coffee ready to accompany some wonderful poetry. I can't think of a better way to begin the day. Thanks for stopping by to enjoy the buzz. Smiles.
We have some happy news this week. The sunny Sanaa Rizvi is joining the Poets United team. She will do some of the Friday features, beginning with a Moonlight Musings on June 14th. Do stop by and welcome her aboard. Magaly and Sanaa's young energy are very much appreciated by we older folk. Smiles.
The weeks zip by so fast, it scares me a little. On Friday, Rosemary featured a most beautiful poem, "Starlight", by Geoffrey Prince. Scroll back and check it out if you missed it. We have another great week lined up for you. On Monday, I am thrilled to feature Magical Mystical Teacher. I have been asking to feature her for a very long time, and she recently made my day by saying yes. Do stop by and see what she has to share with us. On Wednesday, Sumana offers the word "Bridge" for us to contemplate. I can't wait to read the responses!
For now, you know the drill. Link your poem, leave us a few words and do stop by your fellow poets' blogs. Thanks for being here and sharing part of your Sunday with us.
Good morning... I will get back later today... we have had a very long weekend filled with summer. Now it's ending and the weather is turning colder.
ReplyDeleteHi Bjorn, our weather is changeable too this year, we had hot weather too early and now it is a bit cooler.
DeleteHello fellow poets. Woke up at one a.m. to buzzzzzz in and raid the Pantry. Lovely to see you here.
ReplyDeleteSherry, I must tell my big brother that you've said I have "young energy". Since, according to him, I was at least 40 when I was born.
ReplyDeleteHappiest readings, everyone.
Smiles. Old Soul, young energy.
DeleteGood morning, poets! Looking forward to reading your words today. We have had sunny weather so far this weekend. Woke up to overcast and drizzle, which I hope will end as the morning goes on. Hope it is sunny where you are!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary, mostly sunny. Today there is a gathering with First Nations, and a protest walk about the fish farms, which are infecting our wild salmon. An important event.

ReplyDeleteOh I would love to see your garden, and to sit under your special tree and hear you, up in its branches, playing the violin!
ReplyDeleteYou are a busy lady! I am posting today and I hope this summer will see me here more often - only so many hours in the day. I am off to visit and comment :)
ReplyDeleteLovely to see you, Margaret. Our protest was well attended, for such a small place - the park was full! I am a happy girl.
ReplyDeleteA slightly late hello from me, as I am just back (at lunchtime on my Monday) from half a long weekend away – from home and from the internet. Will enjoy reading the poems at intervals over the next few hours, in between getting ready for hosting a discussion group at my place tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteYou are a busy gal, Rosemary. Cant believe it is Monday there. Hope your discussion group is lively, and imagine it will be.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the sweet and sunny, Sanaa!!
