Poetry Pantry #483

Happy Sunday, poets! Sending a sweet smile your way, courtesy of this adorable alpaca. We hope your week was everything you needed and wanted it to be. On Friday our newest staff member, Sanaa Rizvi, featured a Moonlight Musings column which was very interesting. Do scroll back if you haven't seen it. On Monday, we are sharing poems by Myrna, Vivian and Grace, which we are sure you will enjoy. And on Wednesday  Susan's Midweek Motif will be Gardens. It looks like a good week!

For now, let's read some poetry! Link your one poem, leave us a few words in comments, and do visit the offerings of other poets, in the spirit of community. I am looking forward to reading what you have to share. Thanks for being here. The Pantry wouldn't be the same without you.

  1. An adorable alpaca indeed, looking so happy and friendly. Most of the ones I've seen have had disdainful expressions! Happy Sunday, everyone. (Mine is coming to a close now, dark already after a rainy day – a good night to stay in and read poems.)

    1. Hi Rosemary. Here it is 2:45 a.m. on Sunday. Woke up in the night and came in to see who is raiding the Pantry. Smiles. We long for rain, here on the coast. Nothing but sunshine, too hot, too dry. Sigh.

  2. Hiya Sherry all,

Happy Sunday! Irresistibly cute photo, Sherry – so much character in that expression! After a while away, I have a new poem published on the site this week – along with some photos of recent trip to the Holy Land… Look forward to some great reading this Sunday and seeing what everyone else has been up to too – Hope you enjoy my new stuff…

  10. Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there! I just now realized what day it is, thanks to facebook. Sorry to be so late in my good wishes. I am old. Brain glitches happen alarmingly often these days.

  11. Susan, I am thinking of you, on your first Father's Day after your father's death, just short weeks ago. What a wonderful father you had!

  12. I am sorry I am late, poets. My son was hospitalized again with his mystery muscle illness. Writing is helping me cope-so thank you for being my escape!
