This week I am sharing some photos that Annell sent. Fall certainly is a beautiful season everywhere, and looks especially beautiful in Cimarron Canyon, New Mexico. If anyone else has seasonal photos from their area or interesting photos from somewhere you live or have visited, I'd like to feature them! Let me know.
Be sure to visit Poets United Monday to see what Sherry Blue Sky has planned to share. Will it be a featured poet? A featured blog? Or a featured poem?
Glad to see there is always a great turn-out for Midweek Motif. We hope to see you this coming week for another challenging prompt by Susan Chast! (And, ha, perhaps many of you have noticed that if you look at one week's prompt Susan gives a clue about the following week's prompt as well, so you can get a head start.)
And on Friday, remember to see who Rosemary Nissen-Wade features on "I Wish I Had Written This" or "The Living Dead."
Again: I issue an invitation here to those of you who participate in Poetry Pantry. If YOU have special photos that you would like me to feature some week, let me know what kind of photos you have. There are participants here from many different cities, many different countries. I think it is great fun to see different areas featured. I am especially interested in scenic views of your area or an area you have visited. Send inquiries first to firstname.lastname@example.org letting me know what you have. I am interested in city or country views - in your home area or places you have traveled.
Come back a few times on Sunday and Monday to see what's new. Visit some strangers, and they will become new friends! Making new friends and reading new poetry, what more could one want?
If you are on Facebook, look for us there as well. Join our site. It is one more way to stay in touch!
And now...here is the procedure, for those who are new here: Each Sunday we start a new post with a New Mr. Linky for you. This is so that you can post a link to a poem in your blog. The link will close Monday at 12:00 p.m. (CDT), but you can still visit the links of those who have posted them.
Good morning.. I'm spending my weekend with family in Gothenburg.. Will come by and check out the poetry later tonight when I get home.ReplyDelete

I have not been writing much lately, not been writing to prompts elsewhere. Between the Jewish and Pagan and Quaker events lately, I have been so busy! But I am happy to be feeling the faith and nearly capturing it in words. Always just nearly, which makes for another and and another try--lots of poems. Love!ReplyDelete
I'll be reading every single poem above as way opens. A few now, a few after Meeting and celebrating World Quaker Day, and a few during the magical twilight hours.
Wow, Susan, you have a lot of religious things going on, thus I am not surprised that you are so busy. I do wonder how Jewish and Pagan and Quaker all work together for you.Delete
good day, everyone!ReplyDelete
will be back to read later. :)
Your poem this week was amazing.Delete
Good Morning! And Annell's photos are a wonderful "pick me up." Thank you Mary! I shall be around to see you Monday morning with my coffee.ReplyDelete
Liz, so glad to see you in the Pantry. I will look forward to your words over coffee tomorrow. Smiles.Delete
We have a well-stocked Pantry this Sunday. Yay - getting ready to dive in. Annell, I love the photos. Those canyon walls are intriguing. Though you have more trees than the Okanagan on your slopes, the topography reminds me a bit of the desert area in the Okanagan.ReplyDelete
Sherry, great to see you today; and I truly love your poem!Delete
Hi Mary, happy Sunday! Love Annell's canyon shots, beautiful!ReplyDelete
Happy day to you too, Sara.Delete
