Greetings, Poets!
This week I am sharing the third set of photos shared by Natasa Dolenc. This week the photos are of Slovenia! How wonderful it is to be able to visit so many parts of the world through the Pantry. Thank you, Natasa, for your gift of photos.
Be sure to visit Poets United Monday to see what Sherry Blue Sky has planned to share. Will it be a featured poet? A featured blog? Or a featured poem?
Glad to see there is always a great turn-out for Midweek Motif. We hope to see you this coming week for another challenging prompt by Susan Chast! (And, ha, perhaps many of you have noticed that if you look at one week's prompt Susan gives a clue about the following week's prompt as well, so you can get a head start.)
And on Friday, remember to see who Rosemary Nissen-Wade features on "I Wish I Had Written This" or "The Living Dead."
Again: I issue an invitation here to those of you who participate in Poetry Pantry. If YOU have special photos that you would like me to feature some week, let me know what kind of photos you have. There are participants here from many different cities, many different countries. I think it is great fun to see different areas featured. I am especially interested in scenic views of your area or an area you have visited. Send inquiries first to dixibear@aol.com letting me know what you have. I am interested in city or country views - in your home area or places you have traveled.
Come back a few times on Sunday and Monday to see what's new. Visit some strangers, and they will become new friends! Making new friends and reading new poetry, what more could one want?
If you are on Facebook, look for us there as well. Join our site. It is one more way to stay in touch!
And now...here is the procedure, for those who are new here: Each Sunday we start a new post with a New Mr. Linky for you. This is so that you can post a link to a poem in your blog. The link will close Monday at 12:00 p.m. (CDT), but you can still visit the links of those who have posted them.
Morning everyone, What beautiful pictures of nature's majesty by Natasa - And how I long one day to take a photo of a waterfall as good and haunting as that... Its been a vey busy time for me this late summer what with the blessings of a new granddaughter and a brand new collection released too... "here I am" is my poem for September and is very current , being the first new piece posted since Angel Voices and also the first new poem for a couple of years on the site that won't be in this new book... Busy time over here also, with the independence vote for Scotland etc. but looking forward to reading lots of inspired musings later today, when I've had my coffee and read all the papers... Hey! Ho! With Best Wishes to All from Scottie x www.scotthastie.com
ReplyDeleteI have not much time for writing at present, so I will share my only output of the week.

ReplyDeleteNice to see such a wonderfully full Pantry today! I always look forward to seeing you each Sunday morning & savoring your poetry throughout the day. Thanks again, Natasa, for three weeks of lovely photos. I have run out of photos to share now. Does anyone else have photos of the area you live in or somewhere you have traveled? I think interesting photos go well with poetry. Smiles. If you are a participant here at the pantry and have photos, do let me know! Have a very nice Sunday, everyone.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mary and Nataša for a wonderful way to start my Sunday morning. My grandson's Birthday today so will pop in the pantry between the festivities... although the pantry is one itself :-)

I love these photos! I might have some photos for you, Mary, old ones from Mexico. I'll get back to you on that. I hear my parents stirring outside my bedroom, so I am heading out to share another morning with them before taking the train home to Philadelphia at 1:30pm. I'll try to read a few more on the train with another cup of coffee. The one I posted was for a prompt at Writer's Digest.
ReplyDeleteSusan, I would very much enjoy it if you would share some photos from Mexico. Do get in touch!
