The Think Tank Thursday #108 Compass

I'm on a journey again. I'm trying to find which path to take. One speaks to me more than another, but sometimes it is the road not taken that calls to me.  Yes, now we are all thinking of Robert Frost :D.
Today's prompt #108 is Compass.  I want you to think about your Truth North or perhaps a journey you took. Did you found the directions or did you get lost it?  What comes to mind when you think of the word compass?!   You can write your poem in any direction, the past, present or future. Where are you hoping to point your compass?

If you have a prompt idea (even a Music or Film inspired one) that you would like to suggest or share with us please send it to poetsunited@ymail.com . We keep a folder set aside with all your suggestions and just might use it one day.

There 3 simple rules:
1. Don’t link to more than 3 poems per week.
2. Please visit some of the other poems linked here when you link to yours.
3. Leave a comment after you have posted your link.

  1. This is a good prompt, one for which it would be easy (I think) to write a dozen or more poems. Of course, I could like only three of them! :)

  9. I posted mine...a true tale from childhood.

Relatively Speaking, I tried to comment on yours; but some extraneous stuff got in my way, and I could not move it in order to comment. Sigh.
