2nd Chance Poems or 1st time shares

Greetings, Poets!   Wonderful to see you this Sunday again. And I am looking forward to seeing what you are bringing to the Pantry to share today!

This is one of my favorite spaces to post during the poetic week.  I hope you look forward to it too.  Link your poem -- either a relatively new one or one from your archives.  Then visit other poets. That is part of the fun as well.  We really like it if you link back to Poets United too!  And hey, linking is only one part, visit one another too.

And, as always, please leave a comment in the comment section for us...and if you are an early poster, perhaps check back later and see what others have said!

Also, if you are on Facebook, look for us there as well. Join our site.  It is one more way to stay in touch!

And is the procedure:  Each Sunday we start a new post with a New Mr. Linky for you. This is so that you can post a link to a poem in your blog. The link will close Monday at 12:00 p.m. (CDT), but you can still visit the links of those who have posted them.

There are 3 simple rules:

1. Link only 1 poem per week.  If you link more than one, anything after #1 will be removed.

2. Please visit several other poems linked here when you link to yours. Please
don't just link and run, waiting for others to visit you.
3. Leave a comment after you have posted
your link.  I find that people who leave comments tend to be more participatory.  They wish to be part of the community.  A little of this goes a long way.  It feels good for all.

  1. This is an old piece, a mixture. It isn't on my poetry site, but elsewhere. It's what sometimes happens when you write both prose and poetry.

  2. Kinda wish I was that skier this weekend. I'd take some snow over fog and rain right now! Happy Sunday :-)

  3. Great to see so many have linked already. I will visit when it is not the middle of my night. See you all later.

  4. a busy old week what with one thing and another... but here's one of a series of ten poems about walks I've done. Hope you all have a great rest of the weekend, come snow, sun or rain.

  5. Hope everyone has a great day, can't wait to read some more terrific poetry.

  6. Ok. I am new to this blog. Never posted here before. I posted one poem I wrote earlier this month. Hope you enjoy it. And thank you for an opportunity to share!

  7. I wish everyone a good day and look forward to some good reading.

  8. Good Morning! Hope it is sunny where you are! I am looking forward to returning later today to wander in the pantry sampling poems! My offering is up and thanks to everyone who shares. I find your poetry nourishing AND I learn something (about life and about poetry) from each and every poem I visit.

  9. I'm stupidly excited today because my first book of poetry has finally been released upon the world. It is live on Amazon Kindle right now. This is a collection of 30 poems I've written over the last five years or so about my experience of four miscarriages and living with the grief. All proceeds from the book are going to the charity The Miscarriage Association which supports bereaved families and campaigns for greater research into Micarriage. I'm sorry to waffle on but this charity is extemely close to my heart and I just feel excited and honoured to be able to support them this way. I've even written a poem about the launch which I've linked up. Next step is agreeing the format for the paperback which is aimed for release in a few months. Have a lovely sunday everyone, thanks for letting me share.

  10. glad to be posting again at the Pantry. :)

  11. After a morning of miscommunication with a problem child/injured donkey, I'm ready for other communications here. Thanks, poets. Emma, good luck with your charitable endeavor.

  15. I've reposted this week's Z-A poem. Nice to catch up with the Poetry Pantry :)

  16. i'll be back over the next couple of days to visit.

  17. Sorry I am a day late, folks, and that I won't be back to read until Tuesday as I have writers workshop tonight and must prepare. I want to say that I have been enjoying taking part in Poets United more and more for all it gives in poems and interviews and prompts and opportunities to read and be read. Thank you.

  18. It's great feeling being a new member of this poetry community, hello to everyone:-))
