Greetings, Poets!
If you are so moved, be sure to stop in to the "Comments" as well. It is sort of, for me, like having a cup of coffee with neighbors or perhaps a 'meet and greet' where we exchange a greeting with those who pass our poetic way. Ha, the weather is always a good subject! Smiles. Ours has been unseasonably cold ALREADY, and we may even have a bit of snow that STICKS on the ground come Monday. Way too soon. It has really been windy here as well...something my little dogs hate.
This week I am sharing photos taken by Bjorn Rudberg. Actually I will be sharing Bjorn's photos for the next few weeks. It is wonderful to have a glimpse of Sweden. Thank you, Bjorn! You are all in for a treat!
Be sure to visit Poets United Monday to see what Sherry Blue Sky has planned to share. Will it be a featured poet? A featured blog? Or a featured poem?
Glad to see there is always a great turn-out for Midweek Motif. We hope to see you this coming week for another challenging prompt by Susan Chast! (And, ha, perhaps many of you have noticed that if you look at one week's prompt Susan gives a clue about the following week's prompt as well, so you can get a head start.)
And on Friday, remember to see who Rosemary Nissen-Wade features on "I Wish I Had Written This" or "The Living Dead."
Again: I issue an invitation here to those of you who participate in Poetry Pantry. If YOU have special photos that you would like me to feature some week, let me know what kind of photos you have. There are participants here from many different cities, many different countries. I think it is great fun to see different areas featured. I am especially interested in scenic views of your area or an area you have visited. Send inquiries first to dixibear@aol.com letting me know what you have. I am interested in city or country views - in your home area or places you have traveled.
Come back a few times on Sunday and Monday to see what's new. Visit some strangers, and they will become new friends! Making new friends and reading new poetry, what more could one want?
If you are on Facebook, look for us there as well. Join our site. It is one more way to stay in touch!
And now...here is the procedure, for those who are new here: Each Sunday we start a new post with a New Mr. Linky for you. This is so that you can post a link to a poem in your blog. The link will close Monday at 12:00 p.m. (CDT), but you can still visit the links of those who have posted them.

I absolutely love this glimpse of Sweden in autumn. Fabulous shots Bjorn. We are already getting a frozen mix here as the weather cools although my garden still blooms a bit because we have not had a killing frost. Looking forward to making the rounds today and visiting for a bit of verse.
ReplyDeleteAlas. the beauty has been fading into fogging of the autumn.. I think it might have influenced my writing... Thank you for sharing my photos.

Wonderful pictures, Bjorn! Good morning Pantry. I 'm moving further into the mountains for retreat. I will be picking, wrapping, strapping and hauling up North most of the day and looking forward to settling down in the pantry with a cup of peppermint tea this evening. Have a wonderful day and see you all at sunset.

ReplyDeleteBjorn, you live in such a beautiful area. I drank the photos in, food for the soul. This morning, on the West Coast, was spectacular - sunshine, clouds all tinged with dawn colors, fog misting on the hills......very beautiful. I am late as always, and will make my rounds throughout the day. Nice to see a full Pantry this morning. Have a great day, folks!

ReplyDeleteOh, I'm joining in very late, as until a little while ago I didn't know I'd have anything to share. But I am finding poetry in old journals I'm transcribing! :)
ReplyDeleteMy first time to join this site. I think I'm going to enjoy reading poetry here, though I couldn't contribute regularly. I've visited some of the poets here, and their works are a joy to read. Thanks for this great site and the participating poets.
ReplyDeleteI just linked my old blog, which is not exactly a poem, maybe a poetic prose or a prosaic poetry, whatever. Entry # 44. Just kind of a little humor.
Charlene, I hope you see this. I enjoyed your piece, but could find nowhere to leave a comment at the blog!
DeleteThere is some great Monday reading here. Nice job, everyone.
