Nature Views of Japan
by Totomai Martinez
Good Sunday Morning, Poetic Friends! First of all, Happy Independence Day (tomorrow really) to those of you who are in the United States. Secondly, I hope you will enjoy Totomai's photos which I have shared today. Pssst....Sherry has also prepared an update article on Totomai which will be featured here at Poets United tomorrow. Please return and find out what he has been up to since last he was featured.
Wednesday Susan's Midweek Motif will be "compromise." Not always easy to compromise, but a necessary skill to learn in life. Let's write!
Did you read yesterday's "The Living Dead" post by Rosemary. She features a poem by Augustine of Hippo, also known as St.Augustine. Truly a fascinating poem written by a very complex man. We usually do not think of St. Augustine as a poet, do we? But...take a look.
Now let's share poetry. Link your one poem below. Stop in and say hello to the community. And visit the poems of others who have shared. Enjoy, and have a good week!
Good morning everyone, what a wonderful set of pictures... I'm in awe of all beauty captured,

ReplyDeleteHey everyone,
ReplyDeleteIts been four amazing days in K.L so far :D the people here are very nice and friendly. There are three races residing here namely Malays, Chinese and Indians. The weather here is 36 degrees celsius..and oh my god the time difference is too much compared to EST… local time here is (GMT+8) which means its exactly 16:56 PM right now.
Anyways, hope you guys are having an amazing day :D sharing my poem "Purple Passion" Thank you Mary for opening the doors to yet another gorgeous pantry and Totomai for the fabulous pictures :D
Lots of love,
Sanaa
Whew - 35 degrees is intense. Hopefully you are getting settled well in your new location. Perhaps after a while you will have to share some photos with us!
DeleteYeah the weather is a bit too much, lol getting settled and yes definitely pictures coming soon, I promise :)
DeleteHang in there…Rain will come soon. Jump into the pool or head for the beach - off-shore on an island like Redang or Tioman is awesome.
DeleteWelcome to Malaysia Sanaa!
Thank you Ninot :D
Deletexoxo
Oh Totomai your pictures always take my breath away...these are just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing them Mary. What a way to start my day! Good Sunday morning everyone!
ReplyDeleteGood morning again, Friends! Really, as I look at Totomai's FIRST photo, it seems it almost looks like fireworks...though I know it is not. Cool to think that it does though in the light of tomorrow's holiday here. I am enjoying reading what you write & also wonderful to experience the reciprocity.
ReplyDeleteSuch an array of natural beauty from Japan.
ReplyDeleteI'm sharing a poem I wrote earlier this week. I've had something of a lull in my writing but I'm trying to push through it.
Ha, Kerry....you and me both!
DeleteGood Sunday folks; have a blessed day
ReplyDeletemuch love...
I opened this post with a WOW WOW WOW for the photos. Thanks, Totomai. And thanks Mary for keeping our pantry full and multidimensional!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the photo! Yes, they are Wow!
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th everyone. Canada day was on the 1st and was quite wonderful. We saw our hip, cool prime minister dancing at the big free concert they had in Ottawa.
ReplyDeleteTotomai, your photos as always are amazing. Kids, totomai recently had his work admired at a very high level. We will talk about that in his feature tomorrow. He is a star on the rise and one day we will say we knew him when...........
Oh yes, belated Happy Canada Day as well, Sherry....and others who recently celebrated.
DeleteHappy belated Canada Day Sherry!
DeleteI used to dance on the frozen Rideau River Sherry in Ottawa, to Bryan Adams and Luba no less. I am sure it was awesome to see your cool and handsome prime minister dancing away. Like a certain 60s wild woman I know...

Thank you, friends. It was a quiet day for this old gal, but I enjoyed watching him hot-footing it on the telly. Smiles. He is pretty cute!
DeleteMe and a whole bunch of us here in Malaysia agree whole-heartedly especially the ladies. Not like his father at all who was VERY serious...
DeleteBeautiful pictures Totomai... A wonderful way into the pantry.
