Hong Kong by Night |
Greetings, Poets! I found the above photo in Wikimedia Commons. I thought it was a beautiful one so decided to share here for Poetry Pantry this weekend. (Click on it to make it larger if you wish.)
Hope you enjoyed all of the features we shared at Poets United this week. Sherry prepared a great feature on poet Vivian Zems for last Monday. Sumana had us writing tribute poems for Wednesday. On Friday Sherry featured Joanna Streetly, the poet laureate of Tofino, BC, Canada for "I Wish I'd Written This." We all know that Sherry is living there in Tofino, and Sherry knows this poet! Scroll back to read these wonderful features.
Return Monday to see which poems Sherry has featured for Poems of the Week. And, for this week's Midweek Motif Susan's prompt will be Truth.
Hope that everyone is having a good weekend, and that you will have some time to share and read poetry. Link your one poem below. Stop in and say hello. Visit the poems of others who share! I will see you on the trail.
Good morning... as usual I will come back later in the evening... we have wonderful summer. Carpe Diem
ReplyDeleteThanks for opening the Pantry doors to us Mary. Have a good Sunday everyone
ReplyDeletemuch love...
Good morning once again! Do enjoy your summer day....and some good poetry! See you on the trail.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday everyone! Have a great day, and enjoy....looking forward to visiting with you all.
ReplyDeleteHong Kong is beautiful. Its setting is somewhat like Vancouver's. Thanks for hosting, Mary. Am at the farm and the puppy is keeping me happily hopping!
ReplyDeleteYes, that certainly is a beautiful picture of Hong Kong! One of the countries I never managed to get to and don't expect to visit now – so it's lovely to do a bit of virtual travelling like this instead.
ReplyDeleteWe lost power and I was trying to link via my phone and it didn't work out very well. The third link is the best. The first one works too in that it goes to the blog. Maybe the administrator can delete the first and second and leave the third. Sorry for the mess up!
ReplyDeleteGood day, poets!
ReplyDeletewill be back to read later. :)
Hi Mary. Am trying to post my entry but I get a strange notification from poetryblogroll saying there's an error. I can't figure out what it could be.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep trying. Hope everyone has a great week!
Myrna, I was able to post it for you. You have to accept some new terms before it will allow you to post. When you get that warning next time, look around and you will find where you should check. From that time on, it will be just fine.
DeleteGone fishing. Will be back for some enjoyable reading.
