The Poetry Pantry
2nd Chance Poems or 1st time shares
 

Do you have a poem you would like to share? Something that you just felt inspired to write and want others to read. Perhaps it’s a poem that didn’t get as much exposure on your blog as you would have liked. Maybe it’s a poem that you wrote a long time ago that you would like people to revisit. That’s what this section of Poets United is for.

Each Sunday we start a new post with a New Mr. Linky for you. This is so that you can post a link to a poem in your blog. The link will close Monday at 8:00 p.m. (CDT), but you can still visit the links of those who have posted them.


There 3 simple rules:

1. Don’t link to more than 1 poem per week.  If you link more than one, anything after #1 will be removed.

2. Please visit several other poems linked here when you link to yours. Please
don't just link and run, waiting for others to visit you. 

3. Leave a comment after you have posted
your link.  I find that people who leave comments tend to be more participatory.  They wish to be part of the community.  A little of this goes a long way.  It feels good for all.

    OMG.. I've never been first before... I just thought I'd check in before I went to sleep... I feel lucky or something... anyway ... happy Sunday everyone! I get to see Red Hot Chili Peppers tonight and I'm excited about that. I can't wait to see what you wish to share!

    Just got back from church. The praise band wailed, Lex preached a good sermon, and now I'm exhausted, so after a nap, will click on y'all. Have to say, mine is one of the more subdued in my collection, but it's about "the friend we all have." Peace, Amy

    Happy Sunday indeed--a rainy rainy weekend. Which meant that I spent time walking the dog in the rain. Sherry'd asked me if I'd ever written prose before--so I attempted--to capture the feel of the rain, rhythm, in this poem.

    OK, those of you who are posting later in the day and from now on: If you want other people to comment on YOUR blog, how abour you making the first move. There seem to be a lot of people right now waiting for others to visit ................ but not interested in commenting on others' work. Why is that?
