The Poetry Pantry
2nd Chance Poems or 1st time shares
Each Sunday we start a new post with a New Mr. Linky for you. This is so that you can post a link to a poem in your blog. The link will close Monday at 8:00 p.m. (CDT), but you can still visit the links of those who have posted them.
1. Don’t link to more than 1 poem per week. If you link more than one, anything after #1 will be removed.
2. Please visit several other poems linked here when you link to yours. Please
don't just link and run, waiting for others to visit you.

3. Leave a comment after you have posted
your link. I find that people who leave comments tend to be more participatory. They wish to be part of the community. A little of this goes a long way. It feels good for all.

Excited to be here again! I will visit later on when it isn't 1am :)
ReplyDeleteAutumn is inspiring to me as well--thanks Mary for the opportunity to share.
ReplyDeleteWell it's spring here in the Southern Hemisphere, things are growing and renewing. My poem this week is about spiritual renewal...
ReplyDeleteWe seem to be burning the candle at both ends, between us :-)
ReplyDeleteLate for some, rather too early for others.
I liked everyone's poetry a lot. Like Laura Marie, I plan to visit again tomorrow morning, but by that I don't mean the tomorrow that is in 12 minutes, I mean the one after I wake up.
ReplyDeletehave a great sunday everyone!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much as always for this forum: Limerick Ode To The Gambler
ReplyDeleteMy poem was inspired from the generosity of prompts at other blogs. Thanks for the space to share!
ReplyDeleteHello all! Some of you may have seen this post in the last couple of days (I sort of have a one track mind right now. My hope is to get people to add a Poem, Prayer, or kind word to the Benefit for Sabrina McColl Post. She is a six year old little girl with an inoperable brain tumor. I, and her family, appreciate the love and support shown thus far. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi all, please ignore my first link, it's from last week and my fat finger hit enter when I tried to clear the entry box, happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteThe correct link now shows. You may have gotten some visits to the last week poem as well though....but the newer visitors will land in the correct place!
DeleteThanks Mary. Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday everybody:D
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday to everyone, stay dry :)
ReplyDeleteHi kids, I posted one of my old favorites from years back - some of you have read it already - In the Presence of the Sacred. I look forward to seeing what is in the pantry this morning.
ReplyDeleteLow cloud and precipitation - no walk on the moor today.
ReplyDeleteBut this place is warm and dry.
Hello everyone... it's a little too hot where I'm at... I hope everyone has a great day!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see a lot of activity in the pantry today!! The sun is shining here today, but one needs a light jacket! Time for a walk. Hope everyone has a great day.
ReplyDeleteI love working with the Tanka form - especially the bridge line. It inspires me.
ReplyDeleteGood day, I have shared an impromptu verse on Blue Moon. Come read it and enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday everyone!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday Everyone!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could post a new poem, but as of now, college has pretty much taken every little bit of energy I have.
Lorna Cahill... your poem was so beautifully sweet, yet powerful. I loved how it made me feel... I needed to read it again before I left to savor its flavor. And then I couldn't leave a comment! The comment box doesn't open wide enough for the choice I need... see this one to see what I mean. There's a gap after OpenID... then there's the open for Name/URL... I wonder if some don't want the option for anonymous available? Anyway... I hope you see this!
ReplyDeleteThis is becoming a lovely habit.
ReplyDeletei'll be back to visit asap!
ReplyDeletehave a wonderful week everyone.
Always lots of well known names to choose from here. Thanks, Pantry!
ReplyDeleteI've linked my very amateurish first ever attempt at poetry (No to page 3). For US readers, to explain, page 3 is the page of the most popular UK newspaper, on which they post a picture of a women with her boobs out every day of the week. There is a campaign in the UK to try and stop this and I was inspired (even though I'm a food blogger) to write a poem.
ReplyDeletePlease have a read. I'd be touched as well if you could support the campaign.
I messed up when adding my link and put my home page not the poem's page which is actually at http://listeningdaisy.blogspot.com/2012/09/china-doll.html I'm sorry for messing up.
ReplyDeleteHello Everybody, it's been long since I wrote a heartfelt poem... This one is from my side...

I am not able to post it through the linky :(
