Think Tank Thursday #113 Signs of Autumn

I am happy to turn the calendar to September. I long for cooler weather, the colors of autumn and did I say cooler weather, lol.   Summer in the south has felt like being in a sauna.  I am ready for a change.  In my neck of the woods, I am starting to see signs that Mother Earth's mood is changing. Are you?

"Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all."  ~Stanley Horowitz

" A woodland in full color is awesome as a forest fire, in magnitude at least, but a single tree is like a dancing tongue of flame to warm the heart."  ~Hal Borland

"There is a harmony in autumn, and a luster in its sky, which through the summer is not heard or seen, as if it could not be, as if it had not been! "

 ~Percy Bysshe Shelley

"There ought to be a way to combine "autumn" and "morning" into one word, the combination of the two is special enough to be its own entity."

 ~Terri Guillemets
