Poetry Pantry #427

Greetings, Poets!  First of all, if you are in the United States, do not forget to vote this week.  The photos above were taken by me on a walk through a woods in our area last week.  A beautiful day. A beautiful walk.

If you have not already, please read Rosemary's The Living Dead this week.  She features the poet/playwright/ author Ntozake Shange perhaps most well known for "for colored girls who have considered suicide."  I find it amazing how current Rosemary often is with her articles.  This is a good one.

Thinking of being timely, do not miss Sherry's feature she has ready for Monday:  Poems for Pittsburgh!  The day before election day here at that.  But, I think when we are at the polls we must keep such horrific events in mind as we decide what kind of leadership we want to have.

Next week Susan's Midweek Motif will be Reading Fiction, so plan ahead if you wish.

Now with no delay, let's share poetry.  Link your poem below.  Say hello in the comments.  Visit the poems of others who post.  See you on the trail.
