Greetings, Poets!  Well, we are all officially in summer now & have already passed the longest day of the year here in the Northern Hemisphere; and in the Southern Hemisphere it is now officially winter.  Smiles.  Whatever the season, it is a good time for poetry.  Today I am sharing my second set of photos of Ottawa.  Hope you enjoy!

Last week we enjoyed Susan's Midweek Motif on "Resilience."  This coming week the prompt is "Birthdays."  Hmmmm, Susan, we wonder why!  Wink!  Wink!

If you haven't read Rosemary's I Wish I'd Written This poem "Letter to Freud" by Kate Llewellyn, take a look back.  I think many of us would like to let Freud know what we think of some of his theories.  Smiles.

Tomorrow Sherry will be featuring a relatively recent participant here at Poets United, both for Midweek Motif & Poetry Pantry.  I will tell you who it is, but be sure to come back tomorrow to learn about Bekkie Sanchez!

With no more delay, let's share poetry.  Post your link below.  Say hello to your fellow poets in the comments, and visit the poems of others who share links.  Looking forward to reading what you write.  Have a great week.

  15. Love the pictures Mary! The different artwork and countryside is wonderful to see.

Not sure if I mentioned my brother visited California last week and I got to spend some time with him and his wife. I haven't seen them in 12 years or so it was wonderful! We took a lot of pictures and had the best time. I must not let 12 more years go by this time!

I am very excited about being featured on Poets United I have never been featured before! I am honored and pleased to be noticed by my friends and peers.

I offer Technicolored Wings today. I noticed I write about wings a lot! Lol! I do feel like flying on my bike and like to daydream about it.

Have a wonderful week! Lot's of hugs!

    Bekkie

  18. Mary,

I have been absent for some time from The Pantry. Just home from Rome and about to travel to the Andaluica area of Spain. Time is a constraint too often..
Glad I made it here this week before closing time!
