Good morning, Poets. Happy Easter to those who celebrate. Hope you have had time to write a poem to share with us this week.
This week we wrote poems about "books" for Sumana's prompt at Midweek Motif. Next Wednesday Susan's Midweek Motif prompt will be "Holiness / Holy Day." So, if you have time, do some thinking ahead!
Be sure not to miss Rosemary's The Living Dead poem "Easter 1916" by W.B. Yeats. A very deep and meaningful poem for this time of year...plus with Rosemary's explanation and commentary it is all the more interesting.
Monday Sherry is featuring a newcomer to Poets United -- Eric Erb. Be sure to check back and learn more about him and his poetry.
With no further delay, let's share poetry. Link your one poem below. Say hello to your fellow poets in the comments. And then visit the poetry of others who have linked. Hope to see each of you on the trail.
Happy Easter everyone!ReplyDelete
10 more days left before I'll leave Japan :( My post is about my last spring in Japan.
Where are you headed, Totomai?Delete
I'm curious also. Where are you going and why are you leaving Japan? Is it for good?Delete
I'm returning back to the Philippines for the meantime while waiting for the results of my job applications. Will inform you all about my next job destination (fingers-crossed)Delete
Happy Easter to everyone !ReplyDelete
Happy Easter, to those, who are celebrating it.ReplyDelete
Am posting a poem that I wrote last month, about the unique joys that a trans-woman faces, when she turns 50. As April, in Canada, is cancer awareness month, here. Hoping, no one has to lose a love one, to deadly disease, like I have, twice, once on both sides, of my family.
Thank you for hosting, Mary.ReplyDelete
Thank you for another Pantry - wishing all a peaceful weekend. Sorry again that I can't get back to your postsReplyDelete
Feel better Jae! Hope your mouse is keeping you company.Delete
Happy Easter everybody, may Love and Peace prevail on earth!ReplyDelete

Great Day to everyone. I will be back after this day's celebration and the grandchildren find all their treats, especially the ONE hidden in their hearts. :)ReplyDelete

Happy Day to all. I'm enjoying Spring.ReplyDelete
Happy Easter, Happy Spring! It is a gorgeous sunny day here on the West Coast, after a lot of rain. The village is crawling with people out enjoying the dryness. Smiles. This morning I will enjoy poetry, the beach and salted caramel ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. A trio of delights.ReplyDelete
Glad to see you all here today! I am enjoying your words.ReplyDelete
Thanks for the chance to share my writing! I hope you all have a wonderful Easter!ReplyDelete
Gosh I have had the most adventurous 48 hours of my entire life! Traveled for nine hours from Kuala Lumpur to transit lounge in Islamabad. Met a few celebrities. Lost my suitcases by the time I reached Karachi (which had my laptop) Posted on poetry pantry in a cybercafe ... and just received a call from airport that suitcases have been recovered. Now I am back online (thank god) at home and about to read and comment ❤️ReplyDelete
You're so lucky you got your suitcases back that doesn't happen often! Sounds like fun.Delete
I'm so glad we're sharing for Easter I have something special for you from the past. Happy Easter Sunday I'll be around to read during the week probably. I hope everyone has a great day! Group hug!ReplyDelete
