Poetry Pantry #370

Oia - Island of Santorini - Greece

Photos by Marja Blom

Good morning, Friends!  Aren't these pictures of Santorini beautiful?  We can thank Marja Blom for them.  And, thinking of Marja, Sherry has an interview of her on Monday!  I think you will really enjoy the interview with this poet / photographer.  Be sure to check back.

Sumana's Wednesday prompt "Memories" for Midweek Motif inspired a lot of interesting responses.  Next week Susan's prompt will be "Reunions."

This week Rosemary featured the poet John Ashbery in her The Living Dead post.  It's a good one - one not to miss.

With no further delay, let's share poetry! Link your poem and share a comment with us.  Then visit others who posted.  See you on the trail.

  8. Good afternoon poets - feeling rather superficial engaging in poetry whilst Irma is continuing its path of terrible destruction.
There is solace in the beautiful blues and white light of Santorini - thank you Marja

  9. Not a poem, but concerns about hurricane Irma. If you are in the southeast US, stay safe.

  11. The photos are beautiful. I love that all the builings are white. I am glued to the tv, so concerned about all that is happening. A lot of climate change refugees now. Very worrisome.
