1918 - Ohio, USA - first Daylight Savings Time official clocks needed to be hand set! |
Greetings, Poets! For those of us in the United States, today is the first day of Daylight Savings time, also known as Summer Time. I know different parts of the world do this differently, begin summer time later, or don't change clocks at all. Anyway, I am hoping that spring is not far away. Smiles.
Tomorrow Sherry will be featuring poems of the week by three of our prolific poet. And on Wednesday Sumana's Midweek Motif will be Scream! (Yes, sometime I think we all would like to just scream. Here's your chance to write about it.)
Hope you took a look at the poem Rosemary shared - "House Rules" by British poet Esther Morgan- in her Thought Provoker series. It was indeed thought-provoking. Read it and you will see.
With no further delay, let's share poetry. Link your poem below. Stop in and say hello. Visit the poems of others who link. Look forward to seeing you on the trail.
Happy Sunday everyone!💞

ReplyDeleteA great Sunday to all! It's also Mother's day in the UK.... so my sentiments also to all mums out there. I look forward to reading your gems later on today.
ReplyDeleteAh, happy Mothers Day to those in the UK who are celebrating today!
DeleteHappy Sunday! I am also looking for spring as we have had back to back snow storms and March is predicted to be more like winter all month instead of spring....which is why my poem this week is looking for signs of spring. Have a great day everyone and I'll be around throughout the day! Happy Mother's Day in the UK so wishing all the moms everywhere a great day!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday! I'm just catching up after being away for a week, staying at my daughter's house while she was in hospital giving birth to my grandson. :)

ReplyDeleteI am SO READY to scream. LOL. The news right now is talking about the possibility of trump being nominated for the nobel peace prize. I dont think I can take much more. OMG. Rabbit Hole to Planet Earth! Well, at least spring is still coming. On a wing and a prayer.
ReplyDeleteThe nomination was fraudulent....at least according to what I read.
