Good day, Poets!

Great to see you today.  Look forward to seeing what you link today (and tomorrow) here at the Pantry.  I do enjoy the variety of topics and forms that I see as I make the rounds.  Hope you will be making the rounds as well.

Today we continue with some more of Rosemary Nissen-Wade's photos from Melbourne, Australia.  She makes Melbourne look SO inviting!!  I was there once and would love to go back.  Please take a look at Rosemary's article from this week if you haven't seen it.  She featured one of our 'poetic ancestors,' Francois Villon and his poem 'The Ballad of Dead Ladies.'

Tomorrow come back and see a Poetry Blog update, courtesy of Sherry.  This poet has been featured before, but it is always nice to return a year or two later and see what is new in a poet's life.  And here in the Pantry we will be featuring photos this poet took for the two following weeks.  I've shared her photos here below.  Hint hint. But today I'm not naming names!  Smiles.

Susan's Midweek Motif prompt on Wednesday is "Teacher - One Who Teaches."  Hopefully to see you for that as well!

    Hi there Mary, Sherry & everyone,

    Good to be back! Back here in the UK as Autumn begins to set in, I have been busy preparing my next printed collection, ready for release next year.. Today’s offering is a brand new piece that I expect will make it into that collection and has only just been published on the website this week. Looking forward to seeing what you all make of it and also to the joy of drinking in everyone else’s new work later this evening… Good also to see Rosemary's photos of Melbourne - a great lively city, full of contrasts - when we were out there a few years ago, we said what a good place it would be to live - so bright back memories....

    Good Sunday morning...what a delight to be here again...a wonderful way to spend the day with all of you! Rosemary I loved seeing a bit of Melbourne especially the sculptures...and the Borek is my idea of a wonderful lunch....I don't know that I have ever seen them here but will have to be on the look out.

    Here in central NY we have had an abrupt end to summer and we are plunged into colder late fall weather recently...brrr! Looking forward to visiting all today.

    Good morning, poetry pals. As always, I am trailing behind. For the life of me, I couldnt think of what to post this week, am feeling not very swift. Finally pulled a random oddity out from 2012 because the photo is cute, LOL. Rosemary, your photos are wonderful - so much to see in your part of the world. And thanks, Mary, as always, for hosting so faithfully. Not once in these five years has there ever been a sign on the door saying "Pantry Closed." That is quite remarkable, I think.
