Happy Sunday, all! I am pinch-hitting for Mary this week, and I have no shortage of photos of this place I love so much. The waves are wild, the surfers are out in full force, and the village is full of tourists already. I hope life finds you happy and well, in your various interesting places on the planet.
I am looking forward to reading all of your offerings this fine Sunday. Did you see Rosemary's "Thought Provokers" on Friday? She features three wonderful poets, two of whom are in our community, presenting some interesting poetic forms. We have a good week shaping up this week as well. Tomorrow, we will be hearing from the men: poems by Martin, Matthew, Marco and Hank. On Wednesday, Susan's prompt will be Childbirth. I am sure we'll have some interesting poems on that topic. And on Friday, our Passionate Crone, Rosemary, is sure to have something wonderful for us as always.
We are looking forward to enjoying what you have to share today: life, through your eyes, from your particular spot on this spinning blue orb. Link up, and do stop by to visit your fellow poets, in the spirit of community. Thanks for being here. Enjoy!

Your town is beautiful Sherry, hope I'll see it someday. Have a great weekend everyone, see you on the trail.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely LOVING your photos of Tofino, Sherry. It’s been a hundred years (or more) since we camped on Long Beach. And though, I know, they don’t allow that anymore … it is one of the most precious memories of my life. But, just to walk that shore again ~ sigh ~ ~ ~ Life unfolds in mysterious ways. You never know … I may just – find myself back in Tofino, walking those Pacific sands again …… someday ….
ReplyDeleteIt is Possible, Wendy......just a ferry ride and three hour drive from where you are. And I will walk that beach with You!
DeleteThank you for another Pantry..

DeleteThanks for hosting, Sherry. Tofino looks to be an absolute delight!
ReplyDeleteI am currently re-acquainting myself with haiku and tanka, via the Carpe Diem site, and learning new things about making them. It's like starting over, back at school! So I'm treating you to some of my halting efforts, lol.
I need to tackle some form writing. Have been lazy, of late.
DeleteI will get back and read everything in the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI hope your eye is healing well, Bjorn.
