I am sure you will be very happy to welcome Mary back in June, as you might be tiring of Tofino photos. Smiles. I will bring you something different next week, I promise. Meanwhile, all of Tofino is abloom, and I wanted to show you the Rhodo Hill, in full bloom right now.........truly a sight to see.

Happy Mother's Day, to all the moms out there, and those who love them. May you all have a beautiful day, celebrating the mothers in your lives. I hope some of you receive flowers, as you so deserve!

On Monday, we are featuring one of our newer members, the poet and artist Sreeja, who lives in Mumbai. Do stop by and leave her some words of welcome. On Wednesday, Susan is challenging us with the prompt: bicycles, tricycles and unicycles, which should inspire some interesting and amusing poems. And at the end of the week,  Rosemary will intrigue and entertain us once more with her Friday feature. Be sure to scroll back to catch last Friday's feature, if you missed it. It features the inimitable Mama Zen, sharing  one of her most spectacular poems. It is not to be missed!

Let's grab our coffee, and jump into this week's Pantry. Link your poem, enjoy the feast of poetry, and do visit other poets, in the spirit of community. Have a wonderful Mother's Day, everyone!

    1. The old growth forests are amazing, Anna....not much left on the Island and they are still clearcutting as fast as they can, and shipping raw logs away. Insanity.

  15. It used to be my fave restaurant. Now it is a First Nations information Centre, which is lovely. Long ago, it was an Inn, and there were rustic cabins on the beach.

  17. Next week I will share something different. But I will soon be posting some beach shots on my blog. Smiles. I kick myself every time I go to the beach without my camera. Every time is different...colours, clouds, sky, colour of the sea, size of the waves. I need to learn to always carry it.
