Today we are going to extend and expand ours, by using one of his quotes to write a poem. Yes, you get to pick the quote! :D Albert Einstein's quotes resonate tones of truth. I think his words ring true, for most of us. I want you to pick one of his quotes and pen a poem that rings true for you~

I'd be a square not to post for E=Mc2. Thank you for this prompt!
ReplyDeleteMemory and thought knit in peace... likeee (especially here and now - we are dusting off the frosts and the knitted garments).
DeleteThank you for constatnly giving inspiration to write and appreciate others' words. Glad to be part of this!
ReplyDeletefun prompts...once again! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteFun prompt. I think I may be one of his crazy relatives - I see similarities in the hair department, but definitely not the brain!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSherry-lol I almost spit out my tea, lol! He has a Phyllis Diller hairstyle...no she had his, lol! Do not sell yourself short~ <3 your poem! I nominated for poem of the week :D

Libby-Very cute! I like that ;D
a relatively interesting idea: like riding on a light beam.
ReplyDeletealso, sorry - first time at this... the first post used the previous URL so takes you to the wrong poem. Doh... appropriately non-Einsteinian mistake.
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing. I think we deserve the Bunny Slipper award.
DeleteAm so glad I saw this in time to get in on it - Einstein rocks! I've written about him several times ...

SE-I am glad you joined in too! He does rock, lol
ReplyDeleteCheesewolf-No worries...I loved both poems! All is good! Welcome to Poets United :D
Well, #1 is not the real deal here. Sorry if I confused anyone. But, hey, Einstein did that too! (Just not in a mundane HTML sort of way.)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry, Ella, for all my blither blather about my stupid glove. That thing has given me trouble more than once!
great prompt, Ella!!!
ReplyDeleteLike Sherry, my hair, on more desheveled days, has been compared to the mad appearance of both Einstein and Emmett Brown. And like Libby, I have been accused of being a bit square (great pun, Libby). Maintaining that balance between mad and square is fun.
ReplyDeleteI just put up a poem about using an Einstein quote. And as always, criticism, suggestions, chastisements and corrections are coveted!
Thanx for the fun, fun challenge, Ella. Being fun, it put me in a rhyming mood.
Great prompt Ella. Took me a while to come up with something. Einstein was a truly fascinating man.
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful prompt Ella! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Carrie-Thank you! How can we not find inspiration through him :D

Libby-No worries! Did you want me to delete it?! I can... :D
