The Poetry Pantry Is Now Open - Week #5

What poem written by you should we read. We are excited to see!!

The Poetry Pantry

2nd Chance Poems or 1st time shares

Anything goes!! All Poems, all Poets, All Week!!

Do you have a poem you would like to share? Something that you just felt inspired to write and want others to read. Perhaps it’s a poem that didn’t get as much exposure on your blog as you would have liked. Maybe it’s a poem that you wrote a long time ago that you would like people to revisit. That’s what this section of Poets United is for.

Each Sunday we start a new post with a New Mr. Linky for you. This is so that you can post a link to anything you want us to read, anything at all related to poetry or prose found on your own poetry blogs. It will remain open all week so that you can show us your writings and thoughts. You can post links weekly should you chose to do so. What poetry you put here is up to you so don't be afraid to share with us!!

There 3 simple rules:

1. Don’t link to more than 3 poems per week.

2. Please visit some of the other poems linked here when you link to yours.

3. Leave a comment after you have posted your link.

  2. Hi kids, the url says mandarin moon but that is a glitch. I posted In The Presence of the Sacred, about the most magnificent tree on Meares Island in Clayoquot Sound, that has a kazillion other ferns and trees and growing things hanging off her huge trunk and branches. Writers group in Tofino gave the prompt "what kind of tree would you be if you were a tree?" and I likened myself to her because I have felt rather like a tree, being the trunk which sheltered four young ones through this life.

  6. Hi friends,
I came to realise these past few weeks, as long as we remember our childhood moments,we still hold some of that innocence in our grasp.

That is why I decided to post this silly little poem that is my recollection of my childhood in Tasmania.

And now I am off to visit you!

  12. I tried to link, but I failed. I am pretty useless at most things to do with computers, so of course I blame myself. If you do a search on my site with the word "Spires", you should find it.

  13. I'm glad i discovered this wonderful site via Jingle :)
I put an old poem of mine, it's basically an interpretation of a painting by Marc Chagal, Bleu Paysage. It's fun, like a bedtime story for children, hope you all will enjoy it :)

Thank you Poets United, I can't wait to read another poet's poems :)

  15. Great content in the pantry this week guys. Congrats to all. I really like the poem I put up because it has some personal meaning for me. It doesn't seem to have gotten to many reads so I thought I'd post it up here. Thanks for reading everyone and keep up the good work.

  21. Square Corner, I looked for the "Spires" poem on your site. Never did find it. But I did comment on a poem or two in your blog while there.

Actually I have commented on the poems of all who posted links so far (unless I inadvertently missed one)...as I know everyone likes comments. Me too. Hoping for more visits to my poem too. It is a new one for me. Not far back in the pantry. LOL.
